This policy explains what data Silence processes and your rights.

Data controller
The data controller is Benoît Morin, sole trader (Entrepreneur individuel — EI). Contact: support@bemorin.com.
Personal extension
The Silence extension runs locally in your browser. Preferences required for its operation (such as cycle count, reminder state and voice settings) are stored in Chrome local storage and are not transmitted to Silence. No account is required.
Website and web demo
Silence currently uses no advertising, marketing pixels or audience analytics. The website may locally remember your selected language. No consent banner is displayed while no non-essential tracker is used.
Silence for Teams contact form
If you choose to contact us about Silence for Teams, we process the information you submit through the form — including your work email, company, industry, company size, primary browser and interface language — solely to qualify and respond to your enquiry. This form does not subscribe you to any newsletter or marketing list.
Legal basis
Teams messages are processed to answer your request and, where relevant, to take pre-contractual steps at your request. Technical data strictly necessary to secure and deliver requests is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the service.
Service providers
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc.. Contact-form email delivery uses Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, United States. These providers process data under their applicable data-processing agreements.
Transfers outside the EEA
Cloudflare and Resend are US providers and some processing may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are governed by the safeguards in their data-processing agreements, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Retention
Teams enquiries and related correspondence may be retained for up to 24 months after the last contact, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. Silence does not turn these enquiries into a marketing database.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, and object to certain processing where applicable, by emailing support@bemorin.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your competent data-protection authority.
Changes
This policy will be updated if Silence introduces new processing, such as a newsletter, additional Teams features or analytics.
